Thanks to our panelists @jfnomine , @suzanne.dumouchel , @AbelPacker for their presentations. The live discussion was joined by @PierreMounier, who had helped organize the session. The topic of creating standards or best practices around translation metadata arose, and @vincent.lizzi informed participants about the work that the #JATS standing committee is engaged in related to translated articles. Future work could involve putting together a set of essential tags that capture all information about a translated scholarly publication.

I’m happy to say that there was a lot of interest at today’s session on Multilingualism too and quite a few volunteers to think about what this would look like. If anyone is this group is interested in getting involved please let us know!
